Signing of the agreementbetween CARDER and Corantioquia

During a public ceremony held on October 10 in the city of Medellin, Was presented the agreement between the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Risaralda and the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Central Antioquia. The event was chaired by the directors of the two entities: Juan Manuel Alvarez Villegas and Alejandro González Valencia.

The aimof the agreement is "intense cooperation between Carder and Corantioquia to develop actions to implement the Project Positioning of forest governance in Colombia (which is funded by the European Union), and improve the conditions of legality and governance so that contribute to a more sustainable forest management and increased production and marketing of forest resources of small and medium producers in the jurisdictions of the two entities."

In addition, the agreement seeks to strengthen ties between the two corporations, to consolidate the process of the project PGFC and contribute to the sustainable management and protection of forest resources in both departments.
