SOCIEUX - Social Protection EU Expertise in Development Cooperation - has received nearly 50 requests for technical assistance from 30 countries in a wide variety of areas under the umbrella of social protection.
SOCIEUX is a technical assistance facility to support the efforts of partner countries to better design and manage social protection systems by means of short-term peer-to-peer inputs to be delivered by experts drawn primarily from the European Union Member States’ public administrations and mandated bodies. Practitioners from partner countries can also be mobilised to bring added value in a South-South and triangular cooperation.
SOCIEUX will be operational up until December 2016, when it will be incorporated into a new broader technical assistance facility, SOCIEUX+, which will include employment in its field of action.
