Started Forest Management course

The Project Positioning  of Forest Governance in Colombia, who leads the CARDER and funds the European Union is promoting a course in Forest Management, together with the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Tolima.

To this end, the Project PGFC has expressed its intention to be part of the construction process of the course, to present lessons learned by the project executing CAR in relation to this topic, and in this sense raised the need to meet with the powers of Forestry of the country to discuss with them the proposal and if possible have two work sessions to the issue of sustainable forest management and one to define the technical mechanisms to improve the process of wood identification, currently develop the Regional Autonomous Corporations.

The Course is aimed at officials and technical assistants CAR individuals. It is expected that by November of this year is set your program of study.

The Project positioning of Forest Governance in Colombia is run in partnership with Corantioquia Corpocaldas, CRC, Codechocó, Corponariño, Corponor, CRQ, Cortolima, Corpourabá, and CVC.
