Starting the discussions on "Nature-Based Solutions"

The 6^th of September the Urban Solutions Network made the official launch of the group Urban Solutions: Nature-Based. A big thank you to everyone that joined this event and contributed to the discussions, denoting the interest and relevance of this topic.

During the launch, the discussion focused on the definition of Nature-Based Solutions and the variety of societal challenges that can be addressed through them. Additionally, we briefly analyzed how Nature-Based Solutions are embedded into the current policy framework and how they can provide opportunities to build more resilient and healthy cities while improving environmental conditions and the quality of life in urban areas.
