Study Facility - Ideas?

AIDCO is setting up, as already done in previous years, a so-called "Study Facility", which is basically a primary commitment from which EC services in ADICO and DEV can draw for launching studies of a general / thematic nature which are of interest for guidance/support to our programmes. You may not have heard of this as it is financed through the EDF, however the geographic scope from what I understand can go beyond the ACPs.

If you have ideas on any kind of study/research that you think it might be interesting for us to carry out (of a general/thematic nature), please let me know and we could discuss it to see if/how it could be squeezed in. To give you an idea, one of the studies we intended to look at is the relevance of supporting measures to upgrade quality infrastructure in Africa as a primary binding constraint to trade. We also use the Study Facility to support work on Aid for Trade, such as communication materials and that type of thing.
