The Pacific Island Ecosystem Management launched Survey on Island Ecosystem Managemen:

The Pacific Island Ecosystem Management project, a project commissioned by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), is inviting stakeholders to share island ecosystem management best practices, through completing a short survey.

Information gathered will be developed into best practice management case studies and guidelines, and the best entry will win a prize, including a trip to the Pacific Conference on Nature Conservation and Protected Areas in Fiji in December.

The Pacific Island Ecosystem Management project aims to develop effective guidance and communication materials on island ecosystem management, based on marine and terrestrial case studies of ecosystem based adaptation and ecosystem based management (EBM) within Pacific islands. The project is implemented in partnership with the Wildlife Conservation Society, Alluvium Consulting, Sustainable Island Innovations, Edith Cowan University, and Hodge Environmental.
