THIRD WOKSHOP FOR THE VALIDATION OF THE PROTOCOLS OF CONTROL AND FOREST SURVEILLANCE

The third workshop for the Validation of the Protocols of Control and Forest Vigilance During the 3rd - 4 - on April 5, the Department of Environment and Sustainable Development, ASOCARS and the Project Positioning of the Forest Governance, (financed by the European Union) are developing the third national workshop to validate the control and monitoring protocols to harvesting, Transport, Processing and Marketing of Forest Products.This workshop has the participation of the following CAR: CORPOORINOQUIA, CARDER, CORMACARENA, CVC y CRC.

The agenda has been set for the Ministry of Environment and the Project Positioning of forest governance in Colombia,they present the protocols and the participants have working spaces in groups to check in detail the protocols and to suggest the changes that they should consider relevant

With this workshop closes a cycle of three workshops, which were conducted with the vast majority of the country CAR, it is important to note that once this last workshop technicians Project, review the comments and suggestions of participants workshops, to adjust the protocols. Once you have adjusted the protocols shall be sent e-mail to all CAR in the country and a national workshop will be scheduled to present the latest version of the protocol, then give way to the approval process and national adoption.

Once you take this step, the protocols must be implemented in each of the areas of jurisdiction of the CAR of the country, this step is of great significance to Colombia, because it constitutes a fundamental element of the Legality Assurance Forest in Colombia
