A high variability of annual rainfalls might have since long been a reality for farmers in various regions. Climatic changes can lead to a further rise of unpredictable conditions to which the agricultural enterprise and the livelihood systems need to adapt. A training of GIZ has been developed for program-developers, policy-makers and consultants to improve their competencies with regard to strategies, design and the formulation of appropriate strategies. The training has been conducted in different continents so far and can be provided on request for various groups and at places according to your wishes.

From December 8th to 12th 2014, you will have the opportunity to participate at an event in Germany (Feldafing) which addresses an international, english-speaking adience, involved in facilitation and looking at playing a role as multiplyer. Ideally, you should have a background in rural development and be involved in program development or management.
