MDG Volunteers Kenya is a non-profit NGO providing voluntary services to mar

ginalized communities in rural areas of Kenya. MDG seeks to promote inter-cultural education ,international peace inter-human understanding and solidarity as well as sustainable community development through voluntary service.

VOLUNTEER PLACEMENT:

MDG Volunteers Kenya provides safe, affordable and meaningful volunteer programs in Kenya. We offer vast variety of volunteer programs, cultural exchange programs, internships, gap year programs in Kenya, where volunteers can choose to work in Nairobi, western kenya, Nyanza land ,. Our choice of programs include working with Orphans, Women Empowerment Programs, Health/HIV programs, Teaching English, Summer Volunteer Programs, Street Children volunteer programs and more. We also offer short term, family and group volunteering programs in kenya.

Costs / Pay:
• 4 weeks Placement fees Euros 450
• Long term volunteer placement Euros 400 per month

Application:
VEF form Should be received at least three weeks in advance through MDG partner organization in respective countries. or direct application .

Once participation has been confirmed and duration of placement noted MDG will enter agreement with host community regarding the volunteer duration of placement. for that matter ,it will not be allowed for volunteer to suddenly change their placement duration once the commitment has been made.
Visa: visa is issued upon arrival at the Airport at fee of USD 50

ACTIVITIES:To enhance the access to ICT by the local population ICT education; life skills; sporting activities; agricultural education

ACTIVITIES:Improve student results through quality education Teaching and educational support ;career development ;coordination of club activities ;mentoring the youth to confront drug use and abuse

ACTIVITIES:To equip the group with enterprise skills to enhance the development of their economic activities Farming activities like construction and maintenance of fish ponds, poultry and other income generating activities; capacity building and resource mobilization

ACTIVITIES:To equip children with mental disability with life skills hence enhance their participation in the community development initiatives Educational support like teaching; capacity building in the local community; awareness creation on issues related to persons with disability
