The policies identified in this publication include exemplars of best practices in energy efficiency from around the globe, drawn from respected and objective policy evaluations and databases. For countries starting to develop energy efficiency programs, the outlined policies offer guidance on what works, increasing the reader’s confidence when exploring and selecting options. For countries with established and proficient energy efficiency programs, this report is useful for validating policies and offers a set of policy benchmarks. This publication is one of the key outputs of UNECE's Group of Experts on Energy Efficiency, which the Copenhagen Centre currently chairs. Go to the C2E2 website www.energyefficiencycentre.org for the publication.
