World Expo Milan 2015: competition on best development practices on food security – Deadline extended to the 31st of October

As announced in this blogpost in February , the EXPO organisers have opened a competition on best development practices on food security around 5 themes: 1. Sustainable management of natural resources, 2. Quantitative & qualitative enhancement of agricultural products, 3. Socio-economic dynamics and global markets, 4. Sustainable development of small rural communities, 5. Food consumption patterns: diet, environment, society, economy and health.

The 15 winning proposals will be exhibited at the entrance pavilion of the Expo (Pavilion Zero) and the best in the five categories will be filmed.

Given that over 20 million people are expected at EXPO, this is an outstanding occasion for further visibility and dissemination. As many of you work on very interesting projects meeting the eligibility criteria, I would encourage you to apply to this call through this link.
