They are physically handicapped, but mentally upright. Baraka group (a disability YEE youth group) is the only one reimbursing monthly remittance of the loans from Ifakara town council.
Three others (from the community) have failed to pay and are threatened to deregistration besides confiscating owner’s property.
During the disability inclusion impact-Media documentation in Kilombero, the deputy executive director of the town, Christopher Msimbe disclosed. “These youth economic empowerment (YEE) graduates borrowed Tsz2m ($1000) and invested it into farming, bricklaying and bicycle projects, whose reimbursement is exceptionally beyond expectations”.
Baraka group composes of five disabled youth that are soon to graduate as mobile phone technicians.

James said that they have trusted them, given them skills and now are showing their ability. He said farther, “we got a loan and now are using it to show the public that when we are facilitated, we can”.
