Event details
Description
The 2023 Development Cooperation Forum (DCF) will take place on March 14-15 at the ECOSOC Chamber, UN Headquarters, New York.
The DCF aims to enhance the quality and impact of international development cooperation to address the evolving crises worldwide and rescue the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The forum will focus on the human dimension of development cooperation and highlight the role of risk-informed development cooperation in building resilience for the most vulnerable.
The DCF will set the foundation for collective policy actions in 2023, including at the ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development, High-level Political Forum on sustainable development, the SDG Summit, and the High-level Dialogue on Financing for Development.
Since 2008, the DCF has been the global platform for inclusive and dynamic discussion of the latest trends, progress, and emerging issues in development cooperation. It engages government representatives, civil society, private sector, philanthropy, local and regional governments, parliaments, international and regional organisations, and development banks to strengthen coherence and coordination across diverse development cooperation efforts and modalities.
