Agribusiness alliances in support of local and sustainable food in the ACP

Agriculture is the economic backbone of a many Caribbean countries, a large number of which also generate significant revenue from tourism. The two productive sectors offer significant opportunities for inclusive economic growth and sustainable development in achieving the SDGs. This panel will explore success factors which can be replicated or expanded and innovative partnerships within diverse private sector actors, including chefs, agribusiness and tourism.

One of CTA's five co-organised events at The European Development Days 2016 at Tour et Taxis, Brussels. This particular event is co-organised by the Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA) and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA).
