Annual Forum of EU Delegation Focal Points for Human Rights and Democracy, Civil Society, Youth and Gender Equality

The Annual Forum of EU Delegation Focal Points for Human Rights & Democracy, Civil Society, Youth and Gender Equality will take place from 13 to 15 March 2023.

Colleagues from EU Delegations and HQ will discuss how to make the best use of their thematic and geographic programmes to foster human rights, democracy, engagement with civil society, local authorities, youth and gender equality.

​​​The Annual Forum of EU Delegation Focal Points for Human Rights, Democracy, Civil Society, Youth and Gender Equality is ​​​​organised by DG INTPA in close collaboration with DG NEAR and the EEAS. It will be held online and in person from 13 to 15 March 2023 and will bring together over 300 colleagues to:

• Exchange between HQ and the EU Delegations on the main policy and programme developments and priorities in the area of human rights, democracy, engagement with civil society, youth and gender;
• ​Share experiences and exchange good practices among EU Delegations, within the same region and across regions;
• Benefit from targeted trainings on a number of relevant themes.

The event is primarily aimed at EU Delegation Focal Points, but colleagues from HQ are very welcome to join for sessions they are interested in. In-person registrations are now closed but it is possible to join the event by registering here.

Registration will remain open until the start of the event.
