European Network Against Racism
Event details
Description
For whom?
For diverse groups and racialized voices – from civil society organisations to policymakers – to engage in meaningful dialogue on racial discrimination.
What? REIMAGINING RACIAL JUSTICE
This year, the call to action is clear: reimagine, resist, and rebuild. Equality and justice cannot wait. As our rights, bodies, and lives come under attack, we must act now.
When: Event takes place 18-19 March. Registration deadline is 16 February.
Why? It has been five years since the EU’s first-ever Anti-Racism Action Plan was introduced. Today, as the EU builds a new Anti-Racism Strategy, this moment demands nothing less than a bold and transformative blueprint.
The annual Anti-Racism and Diversity Week (ARDW) takes place against the backdrop of an increasingly hostile environment for civil society and human rights defenders. Participants will help shape the future of Europe’s anti-racism agenda, fortify the European social justice movement in an era of escalating political hostility, and inspire bold action. Organised with the support of ARDI (EP Anti-Racism and Diversity Intergroup) and the European Commission, the event will stand as a powerful demonstration of resistance.
