Description
To coincde with the UNEP's 40th Anniversary, Stanley Jonhson will be presenting his new book entitled "UNEP: The First Forty Years,' a captivating narrative of UNEP's past.
Stanley Johnson, a former MEP and vice chairman of the European Parliament's Environment Committee, has worked in Washington for the World Bank, and in Brussels for the European Commission as Head of the Prevention of Pollution division and as Director of Energy Policy. He has been a trustee of the Earthwatch Institute and Plantlife International. He is currently an Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme's Convention on Migratory Species.
