Description: This year marks a turning point for biodiversity. Biodiversity is high on the policy agenda, with the upcoming adoption of the post-2020 global biodiversity framework and the launch of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. Companies are now actively contributing to these key discussions, but what happens next? How can business move beyond their commitments to dive into the hard work of ethical sourcing, even while managing multiple complexities or constraints? How are companies pushing through to bring about positive impact on people and biodiversity through new and improved sourcing policies and supply chain practices? What tools are unlocking challenges or speeding up their progress? What beliefs must they let go of in order to see change that works? How is this affecting the business and the bottom line?
Join us for this opening event of the UEBT Digital Dialogues as we host a conversation with three dynamic company leaders to talk about how their business is overcoming challenges and pressing forward on real measures to regenerate nature and restore community wellbeing.
During this event UEBT will unveil a set of commitments that 60+ UEBT member companies are making as part of the ‘Action Agenda for Nature’ that will be shared at the COP15 in October.
