Call for Entries: Youth stands up for democracy photo exhibition

The Youth Democracy Cohort is launching a contest for its first Photography Exhibition, which will take place during the official launch of the Global Youth Political Participation Index this June.

What are they looking for?: Photos that tell a story of youth political participation around the world, whether it’s a protest, a campaign, a community action, or a quiet moment of defiance or hope.

What’s in it for the selected photographers?

• The 15 selected photos will each receive a €250 prize, including rights for the Youth Democracy Cohort to use them in its communications (with credit to the authors).
• The photos will be printed and showcased during a high-profile exhibition.
• At the exhibition, two winners will be selected by audience vote and invited to Brussels for International Democracy Day 2025!
