Call for Project Proposals in Italy about Global Citizenship Education (GEAR UP!)

Description
The EU DEAR Project GEAR UP and the Region of Marche in Italy have launched a call projects in the region. Activities should support Global Citizenship Education (GCE) through at least one of the following three means:

Formal Education (all levels):
Activities should promote quality and inclusive education that empowers individuals and groups to act consciously in society to drive necessary change. GCE should be integrated and strengthened within school curricula, particularly through civic education, while respecting the autonomy of educational institutions in shaping their offerings. -
Non-Formal Education:
Initiatives should promote changes in perception and behaviour through continuous learning, participation, and active citizenship, encouraging the spread of GCE values.
- Information and Awareness-Raising:
Actions should target everyday experiences to help people acquire knowledge and reflect on their attitudes, e.g.- promote accurate, broad awareness of GCE and the 2030 Agenda, improve the quality of communication, and help interpret complex issues.
- equip people with tools to understand their rights and promote respect and diversity as values.
- foster individual and collective awareness of choices that benefit the common good and overall well-being.
Grants will not exceed €20 000 or 90% of the total project costs for a period of 9 - 12 months.
