!Call for Proposals! for Bosnia & Herzegovina - DEADLINE

The EU DEAR project "GEAR UP!" launched its Call to Support Global Citizenship Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Small Local Authorities (LAs) and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) are invited to apply for funding for 6-12 month projects that take place 15 June 2025 - 31 December 2026.

Funding amounts can range from € 6000 to € 10 000 to cover activities such as:

• awareness raising campaigns, training, seminars, workshops in the field of GCE, Sustainable Development, Youth engagement/participation, gender equality
• cultural and artistic initiatives (co-financing of theatre performances, exhibitions)
• formal education activities to enhance GCE in teaching and school curricula
• non-formal education initiatives to promote a change of perception and behaviour
• production and distribution of teaching and learning materials on the topic of GCE.

The overall objective is to build a shared vision of the role of Global Citizenship Education (GCE) as a transversal element to achieve the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda - increasing the sensitivity towards climate change, sustainable development and gender equality. Aimed at young people (15-30 years old), the activities should boost citizenship participation and engagement.
