Eurodad, the European Network on Debt and Development, is seeking a dynamic Communications Agency to support the delivery of our innovative project, ‘Connecting the Dots: Linking economic, gender, and climate justice to tackle global challenges.’

Project Overview: ‘Connecting the Dots’ is a four-year initiative funded by the European Union's DEAR Programme, focusing on raising awareness and promoting development education among young audiences (15-35 years old). Eurodad leads this project, collaborating with partners across Europe, including ACEP (Portugal), CNCD-11.11.11 (Belgium), CCFD-Terre Solidaire (France), Jubilee Germany, Financial Justice Ireland, ODG (Spain), Reflex (Hungary), and Za Zemiata (Bulgaria).
What is needed:
- Develop a Cross-European Strategy:
- Collaborate with Eurodad and partners to create a communication, social media, and awareness-raising strategy focusing on young audiences.
- Design a methodology for qualitative analysis to measure shifts in media narratives on economic, gender, and climate justice post-project interventions.
- Establish a baseline of current media narratives.
- Media and Influencer Mapping:
- Identify media outlets and channels targeting young people in the EU.
- Propose and facilitate partnerships with key media outlets.
- Map influential social media accounts and provide strategies to engage them.
- Capacity Building:
- Conduct an internal survey on communication and campaigning skills within Eurodad and partners.
- Develop capacity-building proposals based on survey results.
- Campaign Design and Execution:
- Create the project’s visual identity (logo, document templates, branding guidance).
- Produce social media and campaign graphics, including video and gif templates.
- Design and implement a pan-European campaign for the UN Financing for Development summit in Sevilla, Spain, July 2025.
- Lead online petitions and impact communications actions like billboards and print ads.
- Produce 3-4 short campaign videos (60-90 seconds) ahead of the summit.
Contract Timeline: The contract will run from October 2024 to December 2025 (12-14 months), with the possibility of an extension.
Selection Criteria:
- Cost Efficiency: Best value for money.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in media and social media influencer mapping, graphic design, and video production.
- Experience: Proven track record of working with civil society organizations and social movements on impactful campaigns.
- Strategy Development: Experience in media narrative change targeting young audiences.
- Values: Commitment to fair tax practices (Fair Tax accredited organizations preferred).
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (project working language); Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- EU Registration: The agency must be registered in an EU member state.
