Committy on World Food Security 40

This year there will be policy round tables on ‘Biofuels and food security’ and ‘Investing in smallholder agriculture for food security and nutrition’. As in previous years, there will be a discussion session leading to the adoption of concrete policy recommendations on these two important topics.

Other important topics will be:

• Principles for responsible agricultural investment;
• Agenda for Action for addressing food insecurity in protracted crises;
• Monitoring the Implementation of CFS Decisions.
