The National Health Research Forum (NHRF) is an annual event organized by the Lao Tropical and Public health Institute Health with its National and International research Institutions namely the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature (RIHN) of Kyoto Japan, the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM) of Tokyo, Japan, the EU LEARN-MCNV, the JICA_SATREPS at IPL, Lao PDR, the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, UNFPA, and other national and international research collaborators.
In keeping with the success of the 11 NHRFs since 2007, the 12th NHRF theme will focus on the importance of health research system strengthening that contributing to the achievement of Universal Health Coverage, and control the Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) and eliminate some communicable diseases (CD) in Lao PDR by 2025.
The 12th NHRF will gather internal and international public health researchers, epidemiologist, social scientists, health economists, practitioners, and other experts in health research development who share a passion for exchanging ideas and analysis in the various fields of health researches.
