Please find attached the invitation to the CSDP Building Integrity Course (Promoting Transparency and Reducing the Risk of Corruption) - ESDC Activity number 16-17/31/1 - organised in Maynooth, Ireland between 13 and 17 March 2017 by Building Integrity UK (Defence Academy of the UK) in association with the Kennedy Institute and Transparency International (UK), under the ESDC auspices.
The CSDP Building Integrity Course is designed to enhance the awareness of EU and EU Member States public servants to the risks of corruption in the defence and security sector and of the measures than can be used to reduce corruption and enhance integrity. The Course focuses on the impact of corruption and its different manifestations within organisations, including the impact on personnel management, financial management, the procurement and disposal of equipment and of contracted services. Participants will be provided with tools and techniques to combat corruption, on CSDP missions, in CSDP operational areas and when assisting to build strong, legitimate institutions and societies, in fragile states
The target audience for the Course are senior EU public servants and EEAS staff, including diplomats, police and military, as well as EU public servants working in development cooperation. The registration to the course is done by the designated EU ENLIST Nominators using the ESDC ENLIST system (https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/ENList/web/app.php/login). For candidates coming from institutions/CSDP missions and operations without ENLIST nominators, the registration is done by the ESDC Secretariat. Following the confirmation, the participants will be required to follow an eLearning module on the ILIAS eLearning platform of the ESDC. The eLearning phase of the course starts on 27 February 2017. The residential part of the course takes place in Ireland from 13–17 March (Monday 14.00 to Friday 13.00). The course venue for the residential part is Edward M. Kennedy Institute for Conflict Intervention, Maynooth University, Maynooth, Ireland. Further information on the course is posted on the Kennedy Institute's webpage; details will be provided to the confirmed course participants via ILIAS.

- while registering your candidates in ENLIST, please use their personal e-mail address and not functional/generic mail box addresses;
