ey messages: “Culture is not a luxury for Inclusive Socio-Economic Development; it has to be in the heart of the Post-2015 development agenda”- African Diaspora Network Culture is a real vector of economic growth, competitiveness and sustainable development: it is a key instrument for fighting against inequalities and promoting more inclusive globalization. Artistic activities generate a significant portion of financial resources and contribute greatly to the fight against poverty in developing countries. (Group A- French) Culture is a vector of peace and democracy; it transcends all forms of discrimination and creates a universal space. It confirms and strengthens the fundamental values and human rights including the right to freedom of expression. (Group B- French) Culture is tool for conflict resolution; it promotes Conflict Prevention and Post Conflict Rehabilitation. (Group C- English) Cultural heritage and Tourism are a perfect tool for education and Communities Empowerment. Preserving Culture and Cultural heritage is preserving identities and history. (Group D-English) A manifesto - to be handed to the key decision makers and negotiators for the Post-2015 Development Agenda - will be produced as outcome of the session.
