CELA partner Universidad Galileo, Guatemala, organizes in cooperation with the Red Nacional de formación e investigación ambiental (REDFIA,www.redfia.net.gt) an inter-university forum. Among the issues to be discussed are environmental debt and the public sector, the position of the private sector in terms of social responsibility and entrepreneurship in its own and in developed countries, the U.S. approach to the Kyoto protocol and its position on the issue of greenhouse gases, common positions of European countries tackle global warming and the demands of developing countries regarding the obligations of developed countries to address the effects of climate change.
