Eat4Change Youth Summit on deforestation, sustainable diets and active citizenship
#Eat4Change project - World Wildlife Fund European Policy Office
Event details
Description
70 young and active citizens and leaders from around Europe and Latin America are meeting in a Finnish national parc to promote sustainable diets and act for climate and nature. Advocating for sustainable food systems and stronger laws against deforestation, #Eat4Change youth representatives will also address the impact of the EU’s consumption abroad.
As a powerful interconnected community, they will dive into the decision-making process around the EU deforestation law and share their experiences, perspectives and recommendations with policy makers.
They will connect with other active youth, learn more about sustainable diets and leadership, be empowered, plan their own actions and put in practice what they’ve learned.
#Eat4Change's final Youth Summit includes a video stunt to put a spotlight on the global issue of deforestation and a session to outline future opportunities for action for sustainable food systems.
Watch the video from their last Youth summit in Brussels.
