Emerald biogeographical evaluation Seminar for Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia

The event will gather representatives of the national authorities from the three target countries, NGO representatives, independent experts and the Secretariat of the Bern Convention. It will aim at scientifically evaluating the proposed Emerald sites in the three countries for their sufficiency to ensure the long-term survival of all habitats and species (except birds) targetted by the Emerald Network, for all biogeographical regions in the region, including marine Black Sea (GE) and marine Caspian Sea (AZ).
