EU Green Deal Through an Ecofeminist Lens

The webinar is the first of a series on Our Future, Our Green Deal. It will  launch EU Green Deal Toolkit for Youth, a guide to help young people understand how environmental, gender, and social justice connect—and how you can get involved.

Speakers:

• Clara Presman – Gender specialist and author of the EU Green Deal Toolkit for Youth, with experience from grassroots to policy level.
• Leo Czarnecki – Researcher on the Green Deal’s inclusivity, focusing on women’s environmental health.
• Ariadne Prein – Young Climate Movement board member in the Netherlands (Jonge Klimaatbeweging), working to make climate policy more ambitious and fair.
• Julie Bos – Oxfam International, EU climate justice expert, focusing on biofuels, climate, and inequality.
• Anna Ackerman – Policy analyst on Ukraine’s green reconstruction and sustainable recovery.

Clara will present the toolkit, Leo and Ariadne will share their views as young people, and Julie and Anna will discuss the EU Green Deal’s current state.

This session is for anyone who wants to learn more about the EU Green Deal and explore how to take action for a greener, fairer Europe.
