Description
On Monday 21 May 2018, the city council of Utrecht and PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency are jointly organising the start of the EU Green Week in Utrecht.
In a comprehensive festival programme, you will be able to experience working together on a green and sustainable city that is to everyone’s benefit.
Come and explore the city’s nature areas during a green bicycle tour across Utrecht. Join in the debate on the sustainable future of our city, and you will be inspired in a series of workshops, documentaries and presentations on healthy urban living, held at Utrecht’s new Knoop Building and ‘Green House’ restaurant.
How do you see a green and healthy city and what could you do to contribute? Join the conversation about the future of Utrecht.
The event will be opened by speeches by:
- Karmenu Vella (European ENV Commissioner)
- Stientje van Veldhoven (State Secretary for Infrastructure and Water Management)
- Jan van Zanen (Mayor of Utrecht)
