European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will get into full swing with over 50 challenging sessions in the Policy Conference (16-18 June) and more than 500 side events, exhibits and Energy Days attracting tens of thousands of visitors in Brussels and across the EU. Together, they will exchange ideas and discuss the role of responsible consumers in the new Energy Union and the best solutions to help the EU meet its long-term energy and climate goals.
Miguel Arias Cañete, EU Commissioner for Climate Action and Energy and Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of Energy Union, will join experts from industry, government, civil society, energy stakeholders and the world’s media to celebrate the 10th anniversary of EUSEW in style.
This year’s event will focus on the role of responsible consumers in the new Energy Union and in driving the EU towards its sustainable energy goals in areas such as energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions.
Do not miss the Sustainable Energy Awards Ceremony which will take place on 16 June at 18:30 in De Gasperi, in Charlemagne building. Sustainable Energy Awards competition is the occasion for the European Commission to reward the most innovative projects of the year in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
