EUWI EECCA Working Group 18th meeting

The 18th meeting of the EU Water Initiative Working Group takes place on 24 June 2014 at the Palais des Nations (UNECE headquarters) in Geneva, Switzerland.

It brings together senior officials representing water and environmental authorities from countries of Western and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) as well as international organizations, multilateral and bilateral donors.

The meeting reviews the implementation of National Policy Dialogues on integrated water resources management and on water supply and sanitation in the region. The discussion will focus on three main components:

• transboundary cooperation,
• managing water for green growth, and
• water-climate-food-energy nexus.

The working languages of the meeting are English and Russian (with simultaneous translation).
