First young forester summer camp in Azerbaijan

The conduction of the summer camp is a part of the regional working plan of the Program and is foreseen to be held in Gakh district of Azerbaijan.

Initiated and promoted by the FLEG the young foresters' movement has been successfully restored in Azerbaijan during the first phase of the Program. Gaining more popularity among the schoolchildren the movement is being widely supported by the state forestry and education sectors. In a short period, the movement has considerably expanded at the country level and actively collaborates and cooperates with the forest sector and local communities in the regions.

The main goal of the summer camp is to strengthen the cooperation, support possible interactions and joint initiatives by the young foresters.

The program of the summer camp envisages interesting meetings, excursions, field trips and research as well as leisure-time of the participants.
