Description
The next meeting of DG INTPA’s Fragility & Transformation Hub will take place on Thursday 8 May 2025 at 14:00-16:00 (Brussels time) in a hybrid format (Webex connection details can be found below).
We will have two point on the agenda:
- A presentation by the International Crisis Group on the ‘Fighting Climate Change in Somalia’s Conflict Zones’ report, and a discussion around the main lessons for the international community and the EU/DG INTPA in particular.

A presentation by Clingendael and Energy Peace Partners on renewable energy matters in the context of peace and stability, where we will discuss the following:
- Can renewable energy contribute to promoting peace and stability in fragile and conflict-affected states?
- What are the potential entry points for policy action?
The Fragility & Transformation Hub is a community of practice aimed at supporting you in your daily work and fostering peer-learning and exchanges, and therefore your contribution is most welcome. Feel free to extend the invitation to other interested colleagues of yours. We welcome your active participation as well as your insights and experiences around the topic of discussion. If there are specific issues that you would like to cover or questions that you may want to raise, feel free to share them with our team.
