G20 Brazil Summit 2024

This year’s G20  Summit will be held in Brazil from the 18th to the 19h of November 2024. 

The priority issues established by the Brazilian government are:

1. The fight against hunger, poverty and inequality
2. The three dimensions of sustainable development (economic, social and environmental)
3. The reform of global Governance

Throughout the year, the G20 will convene over 100 working meetings and task forces, both in person and virtually, across the host cities of Brazil's five regions. This initiative aims to decentralise activities, fostering a more accessible and inclusive forum. 

The pinnacle of these gatherings will be the G20 Leaders' Summit on November 18 and 19 in Rio de Janeiro, where leaders from the 19 member countries, alongside representatives from the African Union and the European Union, will convene.
