Description
Since July 2026, the Global Districts project has launched #VoicesForTomorrow, an international campaign that places the voices, experiences, and ideas of young people at its core. Running until November 2026, the initiative will engage young people from different European countries in a journey of participation, dialogue, and activism.
With the message "Your voice shapes the future: Human rights and climate action start locally," the campaign aims to turn young people's reflections into a driving force for change, building a bridge between global challenges and local realities. Through digital content, personal stories, and storytelling, #VoicesForTomorrow seeks to amplify young people's perspectives, promote shared solutions, and strengthen dialogue with communities and policymakers.
The campaign will feature young people aged 15 to 30, who will share their ideas, experiences, and proposals on issues that are crucial to the present and future of their communities. Their contributions will focus on:
- Climate justice;
- Human rights and equality;
- Sustainability and climate change;
- Local environmental challenges and possible solutions;
- Youth participation and active citizenship.
The campaign will unfold in three phases. From mid-July to mid-September, short videos created by young participants will be published as part of the "My Right, My Climate, My Future" series. From mid-September to the end of October, the focus will shift to stories from rural communities through the "From My Village to Europe" series, highlighting the challenges and opportunities of local territories. Finally, in November 2026, an interactive digital map will bring together stories from all partner countries, demonstrating how local experiences can contribute to a shared European vision.
Through #VoicesForTomorrow, Global Districts reaffirms a key belief: young people are not merely observers of change but active changemakers with the power to imagine and build more just, inclusive, and sustainable communities. Their ideas are an essential resource for addressing global challenges through concrete local action.
