Presentation of the 6^th Global Environment Outlook (GEO), often referred to as the United Nations Environment Programme’s flagship environmental assessment.

The 2019 edition of the Report was developed following the theme ”Healthy Planet, Healthy People”, which in the word of UN Secretary General, Antonio Gutteres, “highlights the inextricable link between the environment and our survival and progress”. The GEO6 paints a comprehensive picture of the environmental factors contributing to human health and well-being at regional level and it also highlights the complexity of the interlinked environmental, social and economic challenges now confronting decision makers.

The presentation will be made by Matt Billot, Regional Coordinator for Europe within UNEP's Division of Early Warning and Assessment, and part of the Global Environmental Outlook Production Team.
