Global Social and Solidarity Economy Forum

After editions in Seoul, Montreal, Bilbao, Mexico City and Dakar, Bordeaux will host the 2025 (biennial) edition of this international gathering of people dedicated to the Social and Solidarity Economy. They call for the “primacy of people and collective projects over capital” and an economy based on proximity and long-term perspectives.   

In addition to discussions, a series of territorial pathways, a cultural programme, and showcases of what the social and solidarity economy can be in local and global daily lives are on offer - for all audiences. A final declaration sets out the political commitments and a roadmap for the following two years. 

The EU DEAR project “YOU(th) CARE for CHANGE” will participate in the event.
