OECD and Cities Alliance are pleased to invite you to the launch event
“Governing the City in the Metropolitan Century”
Wednesday, 4 March 2015 from 15h to 17h at Philanthropy House, Rue Royale 94, 1000 Brussels.
As part of the global launch of the two OECD publications “Governing the City” and “The Metropolitan Century”, the Cities Alliance is hosting this launch event in Brussels, Belgium. The “Metropolitan Century” provides an outline of recent and likely future urbanisation trends and discusses the consequences while “Governing the City” deals with the question of “How do cities govern themselves as they grow bigger?”. Both publications are the result of an extensive OECD research project on “Urban Trends and Governance” that was initiated by, and has benefitted from financial and intellectual support of, the European Commission – DG Regional and Urban Policy. The two publications are presented and discussed by:
