#GreeningEUcooperation: World Wildlife Day

Today, is UN World Wildlife Day – and the 50th anniversary of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) (Happy Birthday CITES!).

In recognition of the collaborative work for conservation run by CITES and other organisations globally, the theme for World Wildlife Day this year is  "Partnerships for wildlife conservation".

In this special day, we invite you to join the worldwide campaign and get inspired by reading some recent stories we made for you about successful partnerships that have mainstreamed biodiversity in different economic sectors.
