High-level Meeting of the UN General Assembly: “The way forward: a disability inclusive development agenda towards 2015 and beyond”

 The High-level meeting of the General Assembly on disability and development (HLMDD) is expected to take place at the level of the Heads of States on 23 September, this year. Prior to the meeting, a draft text of the outcome document will be produced by the President of the General Assembly in consultation with Member States, along with input from organizations of persons with disabilities and other relevant stakeholders, through online discussions and informal consultations. The outcome document will be presented to the HLMDD for adoption.
