Learning and Knowledge Sharing: launch of the Guidelines for the Implementation of Inclusive and Special Education & Ministerial Knowledge Sharing event

🌍🎓 Advancing Inclusive Education in Zambia and Beyond 🎓🌍

We are delighted to invite you to the official launch of the Guidelines for the Implementation of Inclusive and Special Education for Teachers in Zambia. Developed as part of RTIA’s support under the Zambia Country Action Plan (CAP), TA1. 

The Guidelines aim to support teachers in their daily practice while also assisting school leaders, education officers, and other key stakeholders in effectively implementing inclusive and special education.   

🎤The launch ceremony will feature remarks from the Hon. Douglas Syakalima, Minister of Education, Zambia, and Thomas Poirier, Team Leader of the RTIA Facility, and marks an important milestone in advancing inclusive education in Zambia.   

🤝The event will also officially open the first RTIA Ministerial Knowledge Sharing Workshop on Inclusive Education, bringing together representatives from the Ministries of Education of Zambia, Djibouti, Mozambique, and South Africa to foster regional dialogue and peer learning. The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with RTIA, is pleased to invite you to participate in the online launch ceremony, scheduled as follows:   📅 Date: 12 May 2026 ⏰ Time: 09:30–12:00 (Lusaka time)
