New Term, New Opportunities: Strengthening Inclusion in EU International Cooperation

In follow-up of the EU elections and the newly elected European Parliament, the EU Task Group of the International Disability and Development Consortium (IDDC), is organizing the event “New Term, New Opportunities: Strengthening Inclusion in EU International Cooperation” on 15 October, from 4pm to 6pm, in the European Parliament in Brussels. Please find attached the official invitation.

On that day, MEPs and relevant stakeholders will have the opportunity to debate the role of the EP in coming years for persons with disabilities in developing countries.

In addition, this event will also see the official launch of the IDDC Toolkit for MEPs on Disability and Development. This toolkit addresses issues of disability and development in general, Post-2015, the CRPD, and highlights the various ways in which MEPs can work towards a more inclusive development cooperation.
