Opportunities for EU companies in the forestry value chain in Guyana

The EU Global Gateway Forestry Investment Mission to Guyana is organising an event on 4-6 June 2025 to invest in Guyana's green future for EU and Guyana companies. It will be proceeded by an introductory webinar Opportunities for EU companies in the forestry value chain in Guyana,  11 March 2025 to learn about the opportunities for sustainable forestry and added value products. 

The expected speakers are: 

-Ambassador René van Nes, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Guyana and for Suriname; 

-Hon. Vickram Bharrat, M.P., Minister of Natural Resources Guyana; 

-Dr. Peter Ramsaroop, Chief Investment Officer and CEO of Guyana Office for Investment (TBC);
