Organising and running digital school exchanges with DCYDE!

Training series: Designing and running digital pupil exchanges with DCYDE! from October 2026

This autumn, we are offering a training series and warmly invite people working in (non-)formal education and youth work to join us. Together, we will explore how GCE can be put into practice, try out different methods and examine how digital and hybrid learning spaces can be designed to facilitate international cooperation. It won’t just be about theory: we want to experiment together, reflect on our experiences and develop ideas for our own educational work.

The training course also offers the opportunity to meet new people and gain fresh perspectives, to forge international contacts and to become part of a network of change-makers who are working together to shape the future of global education.

Dates: October–November 2026

• 1 Oct, 10 Oct, 15 Oct, 22 Oct, 29 Oct, 5 Nov, 12 Nov, 21 Nov
• Thursdays 6–8 pm, Saturdays 9 am–12 noon
• The sessions build on one another, so participants are expected to attend the entire training series

Format: Online training series comprising several sessions that build on one another, followed by a concluding face-to-face session on 21 November (9.00 am – 12.00 pm) in Jena. International participants can participate online during the face-to-face session.
