Participation in the Third International Environment Fair

Upon completion of the third International Environment Fair (FIMA) the project positioning Forest Governance in Colombia (initiative funded by the European Union) a balance sheet of the results obtained during the event.

Stand: The stand, which was prepared under the coordination of the project using wood as raw material bamboo legal, and bamboo FSC certified, made ​​a great impact in visitors and exhibitors who expressed their appreciation for the design and materials with which it was built. Many individuals interested in learning the production process of bamboo, to which they were offered all precise explanations on sustainable and voluntary forest certification processes.

Disclosure: it was possible to show more than 30,000 results, goals, publications and lessons learned and built by the project. Similarly, specialized audiences (teachers, foresters, students, researchers, etc.). Met promptly forward the work on the draft forestry law.

Communication channels: were woven networks, contacts and shared experiences with other projects, which is critical to speed up processes of dissemination and visibility of activities that run the project,

In general, both the stand of the European Union, as the work of the project caught the attention and aroused the interest of all people, who valued the goals pursued by the project and considered it as a key initiative to ensure conservation of forests.
