Itโs especially relevant for anyone working in conflict-affected contexts or supporting communities under pressure ๐คโจ.

Meet the trainer: Isra Peralta ๐
Isra Peralta is an international trainer with 15+ years of experience in youth work, with a strong focus on peace education, non-formal learning, and youth participation. He has worked for many years with young people, youth workers, and youth-led groups in international learning settings, supporting them to learn and turn ideas into practice.
Rooted in peace education, Isra has designed and facilitated learning processes on dialogue, non-violent communication, and conflict transformation, and developed educational frameworks used by international peacebuilding organisations. His work later expanded into facilitation skills and youth facilitation, supporting youth workers and young leaders to design and lead participatory processes in both international and online contexts.
Alongside this, he has held senior roles within EU-funded youth programmes, supporting long-term youth initiatives and alumni networks focused on participation and inclusion. Most recently, he led the educational design and implementation of the EU4Youth Alumni Network, a multi-year programme supporting several hundred young people to develop and run youth-led initiatives through sustained non-formal learning processes, with a strong focus on inclusion.
This workshop is part of the EU Youth Alumni capacity-building training series (JanuaryโApril 2026)โa structured learning journey bringing together alumni of EU-funded youth programmes across developing countries. Through expert-led, interactive online sessions, the series strengthens practical skills and cross-border connections, helping alumni stay engaged beyond individual projects and grow their impact as active citizens and community leaders ๐คโจ. The modules are designed using non-formal education methods and support alumni to develop competences they can apply immediately in their local work ๐๐ฏ.
