Event details
Description

Pole to Paris is a global climate change awareness campaign, involving two young scientists running and biking from Antartica and the Arctic to Paris and talking along the way to various people, community groups, governments and NGOs about the true issues associated with climate change and our solutions to overcome them. They are capturing voices throughout the world and carrying them to Paris to present them at an event ahead of COP21 – to make sure a global voice is heard and considered. Erlend, the Northern Runner, will be passing through Belgium starting with 19th of November on his way to Paris. A key event – Climate Fun Run - will take place in Brussels on Saturday, November 21, starting with 10 a.m. in Parc Royale, including an opening of the run by former IPCC member Jean-Pascal van Ypersele. Several organisations and partners will be represented there and have their own stand.
