Description
In the framework of the work done by the Agriculture and Food Security Commission of the NGO network “Coordination Sud”, GRET will host the seminar “Public policy for adaptation of family farming to climate change. Results and recommendations”. The event will bring together NGOs working on advocacy in order to influence policies affecting agriculture and agricultural trade, with a view to defending the most vulnerable populations and promoting sustainable development. The seminar, in French, will be divided in two main sections during which diverse experts will try to reply to the following two questions:
Section1: Integration of climate change adaptation initiatives in favour of family farming in public climate and agricultural policies: state of play and lesson learned,
Section2: How to better define climate change adaptation initiatives in favour of family farming in public climate and agricultural policies.
